What is Re-Store?

Re-Store is an idea whose time has come. It is working in other areas of the country and now it's here in Lancaster County. Habitat Re-Store of Lancaster County is owned and operated by Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity. It is a building supply store that is open to the public and sells new and used donated building materials.

When doing renovations on your home and removing materials that are too good to throw away, don't trash them; donate them to Re-Store. Your project is complete, but you have extra materials. Don't store them; donate them to Re-Store. Wrong color. wrong size, can't return them? Donate them to Re-Store.

When you donate your surplus, overstocked, close-outs, slightly damaged or "wrong" order materials to Re-Store, Re-Store will sell them to anyone who can use them or Habitat will use them to build homes. Either way, the materials or profits go directly to Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity to build more homes.
