Lancaster Habitat
welcomes churches, individuals, groups, and
businesses who wish to sponsor a Habitat home.
Sponsors will contribute the money to build the
home and will work along with the family who
will own the home. Together they will build a
home for a special family.
The sponsors will
provide funds for the building of the home and,
when possible, will be involved with the family
as they work toward their 500 "sweat-equity"
hours. House sponsorship enables Habitat to
purchase the required materials and supplies.
Sponsorship entails a cash donation of between
$40,000 and $50,000.
